My father is a Retired Sr Superintendent of Madurai Kamaraj University. Now he helps my only brother in his business. My mother is a good home maker. My brother is settled in Madurai with my parents. He is married and blessed with a boy.
After completing my schoolings I left my home town and been in Coimbatore where I did Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and left to Mumbai for implant practical training in Air India. I stayed in Mumbai for about 1 and half year.
Desperately in need of job I was searching for it. After returning from Mumbai I went to TAAL in Hosur just for no pay-no fee training on aircrafts. I was there for a short period of 3 months. From there I got a chance of getting a job in Bangalore.
I came to Bangalore on Feb 2004 after getting a technician job in Deccan Aviation. I started my career with a salary of Rs.1000/month. That was really a tough time, paid less and squeezed more... I could survive there only for 5 months.
Then I moved to a company called Livewel Aviation as an aircraft cabin technician. There was a slight improvement in my income. All night shifts, less work, cheers with friends and so on. The span of 8 months were memorable.
Loosing interest in becoming AME (clearing licence exams), I thought of changing the track slightly to white collar job using all the experiences gained. That ended up in a job in QuEST as an Engineer in Technical Publications group for Rolls-Royce engines.
On Feb 2007 I got a chance for an onsite trip to United Kingdom. That was the first trip of mine abroad. Enjoyed a lot and came back. Being delighted by my performance I was called by my Rolls-Royce friends (managers) again on Aug 2007. That trip was for around 4 months. Really explored around 75% of UK.
Now in India routine life is going on. My parents are looking for a life partner for me. Hope to settle in life peacefully. But there are certain things in life to achieve for which work is under progress.
